Scales & Tails brings a variety of exotic live animals to your library for a fast-paced, completely captivating, hands-on experience for your community's children. Our experienced educators work with the children in a safe, non-threatening way that makes learning fun! We can even arrange for comedian and storyteller Kenny "Tiny" Glover to perform "Animal Folktales," as in Young Audiences Presentations. You can tie in Scales & Tails' live animal presentations to your folktale collection, animal song cassettes or CD's, or magazines like Ranger Rick. Or, design a library animal fact scavenger hunt based on library books & Internet sites as a follow-up program to Scales & Tails' visit. Scales & Tails will work with you to create just the right program! |
