In terms of overall fun and intensive curriculum-based learning, the 3-day residencies are Scales & Tails' flagship presentations. These residencies are designed for one grade level and augment a component of that grades' curriculum. Each class works with Tom Hudak on 8 separate occasions during the 3 days. Numerous learning strategies are employed, including large and small groups, pair sharing and hands-on exploration. A multiple-intelligence approach is taken, assuring that both mainstream learners and those with special needs will be able to tap their full potential.
